The Heavyweight 16oz Kilt is highly recommended for evening wear, dancing and marching. It has by far the best swing, although some customers find it unsuitable for daytime use or wear in hotter climates.
Each of our hand stitched kilt is made from 8 yards of Strome tartan which is woven by the weavers Loch Carron of Scotland. Each of the kilts is hand stitched and hand finished by a highly experienced kilt maker, giving you a garment that is 100% Scottish.

Kilt Measuring Instructions
The kilt is normally worn with the bottom reaching the middle of the knee cap.Often measured to 1" above the ground when kneeling erect. Please remember to measure your natural waist and not your hips.
How to measure for your kilt:
Waist - natural
1 on the diagram, snug over a shirt or a pair of trousers
Natural Waist to Base of Kilt*
2 on the diagram, (measurement from the natural waist to the bottom of the kilt)
3 on the diagram, measured at broadest position loose over trousers
